Our Favorite Fall Hats

You know it’s fall when you’re:
– Over indulging on pumpkin spice everything
– Secretly still singing to The Neighborhood’s “Sweater Weather” repeatedly
– Finding yourself constantly nibbling on some sort of Halloween candy (oops, need to make a second trip to the grocery store)!

Nonetheless, it wouldn’t truly feel like fall without wearing the staple accessory: a fall hat!

It’s proven to be trending every fall, making early appearances at musical festivals. It signals instant fashionable mystery (think Carmen Sandiego) and can cover up many of your bad hair days from all the weather woes.

We’re charmed by fall hats and its endless styles and descriptions: Floppy, Felt, Fedora, Wide, Wool, and Brim.

Sound a bit overwhelming? On LookMazing, we’ve made it easy for you to both shop our favorites and see how to wear them using looks from our favorite bloggers as inspiration!

Go for Classic: Black

There’s no mistaking that the black hat can go with any outfit: your favorite dress, plain t-shirt and jeans, and the latest fall patterns.

Try a monochromatic, all-black look or go for a high-contrast, classic look with white for an iconic feel. A little Charlie Chaplin style never hurt anybody.

Go for: Shades of Grey

We’ve moved on from summery cream sun hats to more toned down shades of grey, which have been appearing everywhere this season. It’s perfect when you’re not feeling like going all the way bold or want to go a bit edgier than white.

Also, what would a fall post be without bringing out the beanie! Beanies in all colors and styles are a staple too. Shop our grey beanies or this cute style with a grey trim!

The all white monochromatic white look was great for summer, but an all grey look is super fitting for fall.

Go for Neutral: Brown, Tan

The neutral colored hats are easy to pull off by matching it with a colored bag or simply pairing it with other pieces featuring bold and bright fall colors.

Go for Bold: Burgundy

Burgundy, maroon, plum, and wine hues are not only great as your go-to fall lip. The color looks daring on just about any hair color and practically any skin tone! After all, it’s a great look against those autumn leaves.
