What is the Quarter Life Closet?
The Quarter Life Closet is personal style chronicle of a twenty-something. It is part diary and part how-to and a source of style inspiration.

What inspired your start in blogging?

I have always loved fashion. From an early age I learned that being well-dressed opened doors, and served as an important tool in one’s ability to communicate. As a teenager, I devoured the pages of countless fashion magazines, clipping out my favorite looks and displaying them in my room. In college at the University of Florida, I pursued a degree in Advertising Journalism and considered parlaying that into a career in fashion PR or fashion journalism. However, I also wanted an advanced degree, one that would provide me with a new way of thinking and greater career marketability throughout my life.

With a natural inclination towards communication, I gravitated towards law. In my second year of law school at the University of Mississippi I went through a major quarter-life crisis. I began to wonder whether or not I should drop everything, move to Manhattan, and pursue my dream of working in the fashion industry. Thus from my quarter-life crisis, The Quarter Life Closet was born.

My blog has served as my creative outlet, my personal style portfolio, and a mental break from my legal studies. I decided that I could literally have it all… I could be a fashion-blogging attorney, so I decided to do just that. My little blog has given me great joy and the will to complete law school. I have recently received my degree, and I start working as a lawyer in October after taking the Florida Bar. Blogging has taught me never to give up, every passion is worth pursuing all it takes is hard work and little creativity.

What are 3 words that describe your style and why?

My style is feminine, eclectic and chic. My aesthetic is constantly evolving… I am equally as inspired by minimalism, as I am by over-the-top glamour. However, adding a unique twist classic and feminine silhouettes best describes my look.

What trends are you looking most forward to in the summer?

Dramatic gladiators, mirrored lenses, crop tops, head-to-toe white, and high-waisted anything.

Who are some of your favorite brands and designers?

Tibi, Diane Von Furstenburg, J.Crew, ASOS, Cameo the Label, Zara, Stuart Weitzman, and Topshop (just to name a few).

Thank you so much, Christina! Congratulations again!
