This sold-out palette is one of our favorite limited edition eyeshadow palettes this season. The Lorac Mega Pro Eyeshadow Palette comes with 32 gorgeous colors, representing a good mix of both mattes and shimmers to create subtle & dramatic looks. Compared to the ever popular Urban Decay Naked Palette, this palette offers a wider range of nudes and browns that look great layered together in different combinations. If you’re the type that likes experimenting with different shade combinations (especially for contouring), this palette is sure to bring you lots of enjoyment. The slim packaging also makes it very easy to travel with.
Using the Lorac Mega Pro Eyeshadow Palette, I created two looks: an everyday, daytime look and a party, nighttime look. I often head out to nighttime events straight from work, so I don’t have the time to do my makeup from scratch. This tutorial shows you how to layer on top of a daytime look to create a more dramatic look. The transition process is quite easy and will save you the hassle of having to deal with cleanser and makeup remover. One step that I didn’t show in the video is applying primer to the eyelids. This step is especially important if you are planning on transitioning it to a nighttime look in order to ensure the color stays on the lid longer (and prevent it from creasing). I’m currently using (and loving) the Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer.
I also extended the use of this palette to my cheeks & lips and was very pleasantly surprised to see how nicely the shadows served as a bronzer/highlighter/blush and lip tint.
If you weren’t able to get your hands on this palette, you’re in luck! We are giving away the Lorac Mega Pro Eyeshadow Palette to a lucky LookMazing member and you can find out more about the giveaway details in video above!
